GCQJ4T - Mystery cache (do you need local knowledge to work it out?)
The description is a history of Czech postal services. The only important part is
the two-line formula at the bottom:
I haven’t found this one myself but I suspect the author to use Czech ZIP codes (PSC).
If so, here’s the link for you: www.cpost.cz → postcodes
hint - let me know if you really want the hints in plaintext
GCWH1A - traditonal
This cache will lead you to the smallest house in Prague.
GCRXGF - Mystery cache (do you need local knowledge to work it out?)
This cache visits the places where the well-known Czech adventure book takes place.
I am not going into the plot of the book here but I recommend visiting at least first
stage - it has great atmosphere and is off the beaten track.
But I am afraid it will take lot of time - others may confirm?
-
under the street sign “Rasnovka I” there are two numbers, blue A, red B
-
above the street sign “Liliova” there is a pointer to the importat tourist sight.
C is the year when its construction started
-
here you find a puzzle (the most important item of the book), solve it and find the
final coordinates inside.
-
be careful while retrieving the cache, don’t apply too much force.
return it exactly as it was.
GCV4K1 - Mystery cache (do you need local knowledge to work it out?)
self-describing. one of the first places in Prague where graffitti is legal
GCV1A9 - Traditional although the clue is in English
The site of the first Prague (land) funicular leading to Letna built in 1891.
Though it’s history was short-lived
it is an important technical achievement. You can see the last signs of the funicular at
N 50° 05.746 E 014° 25.518. The cache is not at these coords but a bit lower (because of the
nearest-cache-distance rule) but you can still have a nice view of the Old Town and
Anezsky monastery.
